Event: 5 Oct 2021 - FINOS Open Data Standard for a Financial Regulation Taxonomy and Ontology

JAMES NICHOLLS, LONDON, 22 SEPTEMBER 2021

BRAITHWATE + CHANGE GAP ARE WORKING WITH DEUTSCHE BANK TO DEVELOP AN OPEN SOURCE DATA STANDARD FOR A TAXONOMY AND ONTOLOGY TO CLASSIFY FINANCIAL REGULATION.

The initiative, which is being hosted through the FINOS Open RegTech programme (part of the Linux Foundation) aims to develop open source standards which can be used by financial institutions and RegTech firms as a common language to describe regulatory obligations and map these to their business.

Taniem Choudhury, CTO of Risk, Finance & Treasury at Deutsche Bank, will be presenting the initiative on the Open Source Strategy Forum on Tuesday 5th October.
